Interactive features can create memorable experiences at your wedding!
While photo booths are an excellent go-to interactive feature, retro phone booths are gaining popularity at wedding receptions. Companies like After the Tone and At the Beep have revolutionized the guest book experience, with cool rotary phones (seeing this phone itself will likely be a core memory for many younger guests!) that allow attendees to record messages for the happy couple. Then you get to hold onto those recordings as a keepsake.

Another way to enrich the guest experience at your wedding is with virtual enhancements. We were blown away by the capabilities of Midwest Immersive, event producers who create event activations for in person and virtual events. Some of their event activations that would be incredible wedding reception experiences include a one-time use, custom Snapchat lens, a GIF-generating photo booth, and on-site augmented reality. Talk about an upgraded experience!
Understated Ambiance
Even the smallest elevations to your wedding decor and ambiance can create a feeling of luxury.
Upgrading standard tables and chairs can subtly take your wedding to the next level. Opting for wooden tables, or Chiavari chairs can help you create a more customized and cozy ambiance. We love the idea of mixing and matching different styles that complement each other well. Mixing table sizes and styles can also create an unexpected, custom feel.
Another glamorous trend is the use of lucite at weddings. Clear lucite chairs, or “ghost chairs,” give your tables, centerpieces and floral a chance to shine. You can incorporate lucite into almost any aspect of the wedding for a next level touch. We’ve seen it everywhere from invitations to place cards to menus!

Late night treats delivered to the dance floor are and add on that your guests will love! Vue couples have had Happy Meals, pizza, street tacos and more incorporated into wee hours of their wedding receptions.
One important tip: run by any luxurious or next level ideas by your venue before you commit. Venue restrictions might prevent your vision from becoming a reality (e.g. no live tigers or glitter showers).
