The Buckeye’s State capital has been called the “Biggest Small Town in America,” and is one of the most beautiful and unique places to get married.

Columbus is home to trendy breweries, inspirational cultural institutions, and a seemingly endless list of hip bars, bustling restaurants and unique boutiques.

“Columbus is a special place for many reasons,” said Michaela Neu Barteldt, Vue wedding sales and marketing coordinator. “The city has endless offerings in the way of things to do, easy access to nature, and a booming arts, dining and shopping scene. And it has a varied and eclectic mix of wedding offerings”

Venue Options

From wedding venues, to hotels, to places to host your after party and post-wedding brunch, Columbus has numerous ideal locations.

“With a city this size, couples really have choices to make — which can be daunting when people realize how many options they have,” said Michaela. “But we look at this as a good thing. Couples have so many options right at their fingertips when hosting a wedding in the Columbus area.”

Wedding venue options include barns, countryside, traditional banquet, urban, industrial, modern, upscale, historical, art-centered venues, and just about everything in between!

The Brewery District, where Vue Columbus is located, is one of the most popular neighborhoods for weddings.

“The Brewery District is within a few minute’s drive to at least 10 hotels (some are even walkable), tons of places for guests to entertain themselves over a wedding weekend, and easy access off of the highway,” Michaela said. “Logistics and transportation/accommodations aside, it’s just plain fun to get married in an urban location that lets couples show off what Columbus is really like!”

We genuinely love hosting events and bringing special occasions to life,” Michaela said.

Couples who chose Vue reviewed the venue in a recent blog.

“I can’t recommend Vue enough! The space is beautiful (and affordable!) and the staff went above and beyond my expectations. During the stressful wedding planning process I got some much needed help whenever I needed it from Andrea and Liz.  They answered all my questions, no matter how ridiculous. They made everything so easy and I couldn’t be happier that we went with Vue!” – Adriene B., Vue Bride
