Wedding FAQ

A non-refundable $1,000 deposit.

22% service fee and 7.5% sales tax.

After the deposit, your next payment is due approximately one month later. You will then have subsequent payments due up until your event with the last payment due one month prior to your event.

You are guaranteed one hour for your rehearsal. This time will be confirmed 30 days prior to your wedding. It is the responsibility of your officiant to orchestrate your rehearsal.

We want you and your guests to relax and have a good time. We allow 2.5 hours for the ceremony, so that you are able to get ready and your guests can take their time coming in or taking pictures with you afterward. We also provide 5 hours for the reception, with additional hours available that can be purchased for a very small fee.

No, we are a permit-holding premise.

One month prior to your event.

150 for ceremony and reception, and 250 for a reception only.

Yes. We provide lower minimum spends for Monday-Thursday dates.

Yes, you will be invited to attend a “First Look Event” where you will sample our most popular hors d’oeuvres, entrees, and cake flavors.

65 parking spaces are provided complimentary (directly behind our building). A large parking garage is also available.

Meetings FAQ

Please contact us for a customized proposal, as no two meetings are the same! But, to give you a general idea: Small teams of 25 people or less start at $80 per person for full day meetings, and include meeting supplies, audio/visual, whiteboards, high speed Wifi, breakout space, and a dedicated coordinator to detail and execute your event. Groups 25+ start at $2,000 for full day reservations.

It’s your meeting, your agenda! Not every meeting has to have a healthy focus. However, whether health is addressed or not, all meetings get to reap the benefits of a healthier environment through our unique space design.

Vue has three unique meeting space options and can accommodate groups as small as 5 and as large as 300. Most of our creative meeting teams range between 15 to 30 participants. And for large groups, looking for a unique conference setting, Vue is ideal for groups of 50 to 250.  Vue provides inspiring meeting and conference rooms for brainstorming sessions, creative meetings, training programs, seminars, focus groups, user groups and more. There are lots of great restaurants and entertainment within super close walking distance. If you would like assistance in making dining or hotel reservations for you and your team, we are happy to do so on your behalf. We can also provide recommendations if you’re unsure of where to look!

You betcha! Vue is one of the only unique event spaces in downtown Columbus with easy access to bring vehicles inside for your event!

That’s really up to you! Our meeting rooms are fully climate controlled to provide the perfect heat or coolness for any group. We do recommend that all participants bring layers – it’s the easiest and most effective way for individuals to control their personal comfort.

We provide an environment that is energizing and comfortable with large–open space, yet intimate meeting setups. We’ve created a space that allows your team to thrive in a healthy, inspiring setting. Your team has access to a number of breakout areas and unique spaces – coffee and snack stations plus relaxing lounge areas in all of our meeting rooms. Our Main Space also includes a cozy loft and outside patio. Ask us about the option to add a second, or third meeting room; perfect for large groups with multiple breakouts.

Comfortable/ traditional conference seating for everyone + unique options available to add variety to your setup: Benches, stools and lots of soft seating lounge options available throughout the venue.

You’ll receive onsite tech support throughout your meeting – although you won’t need it because we’ve made it super easy to plug and play. Huge presentation screens, high speed WIFI, surround sound speakers, and all the necessary laptop adapters needed for a seamless AV experience.

Games, fun and extras (all work and all play).

We won’t force you to get out of your seat, but we make it very tempting with active seating options, Ping-Pong, cornhole, giant jenga, giant connect 4 and more – all included!

Planning a meeting can be a daunting task! That’s why our professional meeting coordinators are with you at every step to guide you through the process. We will be with you the whole way to make sure your day runs as smoothly as possible. Don’t know where to start with the planning process? Let us send you a couple of example room layouts! Stay in the city without the hassles of city parking.

Located on the edge of downtown, in the heart of The Brewery District, Vue is right off the highway and within walking distance to many great downtown amenities. Daytime guest parking is available in the Grange Parking Garage, a short 90 second walk away from Vue (we handle everything: validated parking for guests and billed to client, $4 per person on average). Evening guest parking is available in the surface lot next to Vue, less than a minute walk on the same block. Two onsite parking spaces are available per space reserved for the meeting planner or VIP are included in our front driveway.
