Vue Columbus has called the Brewery District home since 2013! Our event venue is nestled in a neighborhood that is both hip and historical, just south of downtown Columbus, Ohio.

“There are so many small businesses thriving here. And, as a small business ourselves, we at Vue do our best to support our neighbors by patronizing them and encouraging our clients to spend time with these other neighbors as well,” said Michaela Neu Barteldt, Vue wedding sales and marketing coordinator.
The Brewery District got its name from the breweries that filled the landscape prior to Prohibition. Today, the neighborhood is full of excellent restaurants, fun bars, event venues and vibrant independent businesses.

Food and Drink
In the Brewery District, there are plenty of nearby hotspots to plan a happy hour after a corporate offsite meeting or keep the party going after your wedding reception.
Some of our favorites include:
- Antiques on High – One of the only breweries presently in the Brewery District, Antiques on High specializes in sour beers and features a regular rotation of food trucks..
- Arepazo – a Latin American restaurant with outstanding Venezeulan and Colombian dishes. Make sure to get extra cilantro sauce!
- High Beck Tavern – A no-frills spot with a great beer selection.
- Rockmill Tavern – This chic gastropub serves as a taproom for Lancaster, Ohio’s Rockmill Brewery.

- Gambrinus: King of Beer – The unofficial “patron saint of beer,” King Gambrinus is said to have invented the brew! He originally stood in front of the Gambrinus Brewery in Columbus in the early 1900s, and today raises a glass in cheers to passersby on S. Front Street.
- Scioto Audubon Metro Park – This 120-acre park is basically in our backyard! Head over for green space and bird watching.
- Skyline, Brick Backgrounds and More – The streets nearby Vue in the Brewery District offer beautiful stone and brick backdrops along with views of the skyline. Plus, we’re a quick walk or ride from German Village, The Scioto Mile on the riverfront, and the Short North – which all offer beautiful spots for photos.
